Bloggers Wanted for Arizona A.R.E. Blog
The Arizona A.R.E. blog is seeking A.R.E. members who would be interested in blogging on this site on a regular basis. Ideally the member or members will be part of a Search for God (SFG) Study Group. The Search For God Study Groups are really the core of the activities that go on in Arizona and are the main way that Edgar Cayce's legacy of readings go toward helping individuals. What we would like to see is the experiences of SFG Study Group members and how knowledge of the Cayce readings benefit you personally in your every day lives. These experiences could be of great benefit to others who may discover them and read them, and may go towards encouraging a sharing of knowledge of the Cayce Readings with others in turn
Although a general familiarity with computers and the internet is essential in being able to do this task, you don't need any particular knowledge of computer code or anything scary like that. If you can use a word processor you can blog, and Arizona A.R.E.'s webmaster, Jasper Blake, will provide both written instructions and personal support until you are fully conversant with the technology. If anyone would like to blog on this site please email Jasper at jjb1959@gmail.com

Morning Rituals
Every day, first thing in the morning when I check my emails, I like to visit the A.R.E.'s main website 'Thought for the Day' page - http://www.edgarcayce.org/quoteofday.asp. Every day it gives you a different quote from the readings of Edgar Cayce and these are always thought provoking and, for me, keep me in touch with the things that really important in life.
I followed my morning ritual as usual today and today's Edgar Cayce quote I thought was particularly noteworthy - for everyone. It is, perhaps, one of his most important teachings to us all - perhaps one to pin up somewhere where we will see it everyday.
"Each soul's entrance into material consciousness should represent to the entity the awareness that a universal consciousness, God, is aware of the entity's purposes, the entity's aims. And this consciousness represents an opportunity for the entity, in the material experience, to become a channel to glorify that purpose, that cause".

British Cayce Fans
It is great to see that so many countries now have groups promoting the work of Edgar Cayce. You only have to look at the International Contact list on the main A.R.E. website - http://www.edgarcayce.org/edgarcayce_international/edgarcayce_international_contacts.asp to see how many there are now.
I myself have only been in the USA for a couple years, having come to Arizona from Britain in 2006. I had never heard of Edgar Cayce until I came here. I first saw his work mentioned on a History Channel programme called "Decoding the Past" and was intrigued enough to want to find out more. His work is not that well known in Britain, though hopefully more people there will find him through the internet. There is at least one group in Britain - THE EDGAR CAYCE CENTRE Contact: John Walsh (see the above link for details - though no web link I notice!). It would be nice to hear from some other British Cayce fans - if you find our blog, say hi through our 'comments' link!

Arizona A.R.E. Wants to Hear From You
Hi to everyone who comes across our blog! I just wanted to start off by outlining what it is we are hoping to achive. Much of what Arizona A.R.E. does is centered around either our Study Groups - weekly meetings of small groups of members in their own homes, and mainly exploring spirtual growth through the communal studying of Cayce's 'Search for God' study books - and our spring and winter programme of events.
The events are popular and well attended with a variety of speakers from all over the country, speaking on various subjects related to the Cayce 'readings'. Many of our new members join the A.R.E. as a result of attending these events.
However, we very much wanted to open ourselves to a two-way dialogue with anyone who has an interest, or questions, or comments about the work of Edgar Cayce, whether that be for his holistic medicinal, spiritual or prophetic teachings. What better way to do that than through this wonderful new medium of 'blogging'.
Many of our core members will be posting on a regular basis, and we do encourage anyone with a comment or question to join in the conversation by utilising the 'comments' section of the blog. We will always do our best to try to answer any questions you might have. And for general information about Arizona A.R.E. and its activities you can always visit our regular website at www.edgarcayceaz.org
We very much look forward to hearing from you.
